Weidmuller's CAT6A shielded ethernet patch cables are suited for use in industrial and manufacturing environments where electrical noise is present.
Purposely designed for industry, the Cabinet Line cables feature overall screen with foil around each twisted pair and shielded plugs to help combat the excessive electrical noise which is often found in industrial environments.
Communication performance is improved as the completely shielded cables minimise data errors as well as the slow reaction times that are a by-product of excessive electrical noise found inside control cabinets, variable speed drive cabinets or nearby welding bays.
The cables are Low Smoke Zero Halogen type in accordance with IEC 60754-2, IEC 60332-1/UL 1581 FT2. Designed with flexibility in mind, the CAT6A cables come in various lengths from 0.5m to 25m and are available in a range of colours for quick and easy identification.
Weidmuller has also released 90º and 270º angled cables that are available in grey and suitable for tight bend radius in cabinets.
Weidmuller also stocks a large range of PUR and PVC cables for CAT5e, CAT7, Profinet and railway applications with RJ45 or M12 connections.
