Australian machinery safety and automation systems developer, Jemtech, has released a new cut-to-length application for the company’s Praxxis Displays and position controllers.
The new Jemtech Praxxis Cut-to-length Application is a pack that provides a tailored solution for applications such as rollforming machines and cut-off saws.
The application was designed for use with Praxxis Displays and position controllers and offers a 0.1mm resolution, capable of holding fifty separate cut lengths. Each length can have as many as 99 batch repeats.
This system is ideal for machinery manufacturers and upgrade customers who want a low cost CNC like control for their new machines, says Jemtech.
It also retrofits perfectly where an old mechanical or electronic control needs upgrading without the expense of full computer control, says the company.
The Praxxis system is a re-programmable control system that improves on simple counter solutions by providing machine meaningful information on a large LCD display.
“By using the pre-tested and configured Jemtech software applications, the installer does not have to use up their time customising a PLC or counter solution - thereby reducing installation costs and risk,” the company said.
