Inclinometer Series Offers Three Absolute Ouputs

Automated Control Engineering and ASM have introduced the PTAS2 inclinometer series, with ranges from ±15° to ±180° in an IP68 rated stainless steel housing. It is an industrial grade sensor that has been tested to withstand harsh conditions, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

The PTAS2 series is available with three different absolute analog outputs: 0.5-5 V, 0.5-10V and 4-20mA with a typical resolution of 0.1°. The measurement range is available from ±15° to ±180° in 15° increments. The compact 36 mm diameter housing with servo flange mounting allows for quick and easy installation.

Since the PTAS2 is based upon wear-free, multi-Hall effect position sensor technology, it offers significantly increased reliability in extreme environments. The PTAS2 is tested to withstand 100 g shocks and 20 g, 10 Hz-2 kHz vibration.
