Advantech has announced the release of the SOM-6763 B1 COM-Express compact module, powered by the Intel Atom Processors 400 and 500 Series.
The B1 version module with Intel Atom processor N455 (512K Cache, 1.66GHz) and D525 (1M Cache, 1.80 GHz) migrates its memory from DDR2 to DDR3.
SOM-6763 B1 is the first COM module compliant with COM R2.0 type 2 specification for customers targeting low power consumption, high performance applications. The compact design (95 x 95 mm) is suitable for applications such as portable POS, transportation, entry-level gaming machines, patient monitoring, and factory automation.
The SOM-6763 B1 is a PICMG COM R2.0 compliant module for Intel Atom Processors 400 and 500 Series. It supports 18-bit and 24-bit LVDS and rich I/O with 5 PCIe x1, 4 PCI masters, 3 SATA II, 8 USB 2.0, EIDE, GbE and the Advantech iManager 2.0 bundled at no extra cost.
